Pastafarianism, or Flying Spaghetti Monsterism, is an insane cult unaffiliated with The Ultimate Comment, but with similarities in tone and method.
The cult was started by Bobby Henderson when, as a parody of the creationist lobby in America, he wrote an open letter to the Kansas school board, proposing 'a (very) alternative theory of evolution', namely that life was created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
