From The Maze Where Realities Converge - the psychedelic encyclopedia of reality from The Ultimate Comment
Insanoscopes are any moving image, generally looping in movement, which is hallucinotastic or provocative of a verbal response from any viewer being "Insane!".
The term was used to describe 15-20 isolated insanoscopes created about a two years ago by an Ultimate Comment member, spawning the alter-ego and virtual entity of Insanoscopic. The term, however, is loosely based and now applies to insanoscopes such as this (note: link to executable on external site). The original Insanoscopes, not long after their creation on a computer, were lost due to said computer kerploding, however, recently, they have been unearthed. Expect to see examples of the original Insanoscopes soon.
