Have A Seat
From The Maze Where Realities Converge - the psychedelic encyclopedia of reality from The Ultimate Comment
Have a seat was a campaign performed by The Ultimate Comment in its early days. The premise was simple, create somewhere for people to sit down on Dublin's busy streets, while secretly photographing them.
First, comenteers acquired a yellow, plastic chair in Temple Bar, by illicit means. A sign with "Have a Seat" was written and taped to it.
It was then taken to the Dimensional Transfunctioner and placed at the base.
A group of teenagers took "Have a seat" too literally and took the chair. They brought it to Henry street, but dropped it when they realised they were being followed.
It was left on Henry Street where several people sat down in it. Some seemed to think it was part of a reality TV show.
Finally, it was brought back to Temple Bar, and left there.
The commenteers later encounted many others who had seen the chair, some of whom had taken photos.
