Hallucinography
From The Maze Where Realities Converge - the psychedelic encyclopedia of reality from The Ultimate Comment
Hallucinography is The Ultimate Comment's name for science of drawing hallucinations and trippy-looking shit.
Heinrich Klüver was the foremost scholar of hallucinography. He characterised mescaline induced hallucinations as having bright, saturated colours and recurring geometric patterns which he called 'form constants'. Form constants are of four types:
- Lattices, such as checkerboards (i.e repeating squares), honeycombs (repeating hexagons) of repeating triangles
- Cobwebs
- Tunnels
- Spirals
These patterns often repeat themselves on every scale from tiny to gigantic, forming fractals.
